3rd Quarter Update...

Written by Bloomsburg Sports Info on 10:26 AM

Jesse Cooper in moonlighting on offense for only the second time this season, as he picked up a first down on a reverse into WCU territory. The drive stalled, though and Bloomsburg had a fourth and eight at the WCU 36-yard line. Latorre's swing pass to Cooper was stopped short of the first down, though, and the Rams took over at their own 31.

Andre Ellis tackled Mike Washington for a ten-yard loss on WCU's next drive, forcing a Golden Ram punt. The punt was not a good one, though, as it gave the Huskies the ball inside WCU territory.

The Huskies responded with a 45-yard drive capped off by a three-yard touchdown plunge by Stefan Adams. West Chester's Dan DePalma responded with a 51-yard kick-off return to the Bloomsburg 31-yard line. West Chester converted a fourth and two at the Bloomsburg 23 when Wright hit Washington for a first down keeping the drive alive. That set up a six-yard touchdown run by Jackson Fagan to tie the game at 14 all.
