What Happened Last Night

Written by Bloomsburg Sports Info on 8:57 AM

Good afternoon. Here is the Huskies Update for Thursday, Feb. 19.

Well...I didn't think a person could feel as bad as I have the last few days. But, here I sit anyway writing the Huskies Update.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies picked up their second straight win with a 62-58 victory over Shippensburg. Lauren Healy and Kelsey Gallagher each scored 18 points in the win for Bloomsburg.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies lost to Shippensburg 64-55 on Wednesday night. Ruben Britt scored 20 points to lead the Huskies. Both the men and women play on the road on Saturday at Millersville.

WRESTLING
Tomorrow night is the final home match of the year for the Huskies as they take on Rutgers starting at 7:30 p.m. Before the match the Huskies four seniors will honored. They are Eric Shaw, Darren Kern, George Hickman and Jesse Hassseman.

SWIMMING
The PSAC swimming championships start tonight at Cumberland Valley High School. Read more about the event on our web site.

BASEBALL
The baseball team will be in Virginia for the weekend at the Builders Invitational hosted by the Apprentice School. Bloomsburg takes on the home today at 3 p.m.

We'll have updates on all the events on our web site so be sure to check back often.

Now...where's my medication for this cold?
