Good morning..Here is the Huskies Update for Tuesday, April 7.

The calendar shows it is spring...reality is that is it COLD! Because of the cold weather there have been some changes to the BU sports schedule for today.

THE CHANGES
The tennis matches with Kutztown have been moved to Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The Huskies also play tomorrow at Millersville starting at 2 p.m.

The baseball doubleheader yesterday with Mansfield was moved to Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Litwhiler Field.

The softball doubleheader today with Mansfield at Hutchinson Field has been moved to tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. The Huskies originally scheduled doubleheader with Bowie State has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

LAST WEEKEND
It was a busy weekend for the Huskies despite the cold and windy conditions. In softball, the Huskies split a pair of games with sixth-ranked Lock Haven. The Huskies fell in game one 1-0, then beat LHU 2-1 in eight innings. Nikki Shiko made a great slide under the catcher's tag to score the winning run.

The lacrosse team took down Millersville on Sunday by a score of 17-8. The Huskies are now 8-2, 5-1 in the PSAC East.

The women's tennis team beat West Chester 8-1 and Adelphi 9-0 over the weekend. The men's team beat WCU 8-1 and lost to Adelphi 7-2.

The baseball team lost two games at Mansfield by scores of 6-4 and 6-3.

The track and field teams took part in the PSAC East challenge meet with a couple more PSAC championship qualifying performances for the Huskies.
