It's Cold Again

Here is the Huskies Update for Thursday, Feb. 12.
Well...the warm weather of yesterday here in Bloomsburg is now gone. Windy and colder today. At least we got a taste of what spring will be like.
BASKETBALL
Last night the Huskies lost to East Stroudsburg in both men's and women's basketball. The women lost 70-58, while the men fell 82-71. For the women, Colleen Kegerreis scored 14 points, while for the men Ruben Britt scored a team-high 14 points. Both teams will be back in action on Saturday hosting West Chester. The women at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m. That leads me to my next topic.
HUSKIES FOR HOPE
The men's and women's basketball teams will be supporting cancer awareness and research when it hosts its Huskies for Hope game on Saturday. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the game and support this cause. The Huskies teams will both be wearing pink warm-up shirts in support of this cause.
GAME SPONSOR
The games on Saturday are being sponsored by Quaker Steak and Lube, the Holiday Inn Epxress, Perkins and the Econo Lodge. Folks from the QSL will be on hand with some goodies from their place so be sure to visit their table and let them know how much we appreciate their support of BU athletics.
WRESTLING
The wrestling team takes on Lock Haven on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. It is also Alumni Night so if you are a Bloomsburg wrestling alum be sure to visit the Alumni Association web site to register for the event.
BE HUSKY PROUD
Are you Husky Proud? Show your support of the Huskies even when you are not at Bloomsburg. Wear Bloomsburg clothing items around town, when you go to eat, etc. The more we put the name of Bloomsburg out there the better!
