Heading Into a Thursday

Written by Bloomsburg Sports Info on 6:00 AM

Good morning. Here is the Huskies Update for Thursday, Sept. 10.

It's a rare day when I have time to write the update in the morning. I wish I had more mornings like this!

LAST NIGHT-MEN'S SOCCER
The men's soccer team played to a 1-1, 2OT tie with St. Thomas Aquinas at Sports Stadium. Tyler Phillips scored the lone goal for the Huskies in this one. Bloomsburg is now 2-1-1 on the year and plays at Shippensburg on Saturday at 5 p.m.

YESTERDAY-FIELD HOCKEY
The field hockey team returned to its winning ways with a 6-1 win at CW Post yesterday. Breanne Tobin and Amanda Riley each scored twice for the Huskies in this one. Bloomsburg is now 4-1 on the year and 1-1 in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg plays at Seton Hill on Saturday at 4 p.m. and at Slippery Rock on Sunday at 1 p.m.

TUESDAY NIGHT
The women's team played a 0-0, 2OT tie with Mansfield at Sports Stadium. Bloomsburg is now 2-1-1 on the year as well. Bloomsburg plays at Shippensburg on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

TONIGHT
A night off the sports information crew as no teams are playing.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR
The football team returns home to Redman Stadium on Sept. 26 to face CW Post at Noon. It is Bloomsburg Fair Day and all fans get a $1 off coupon to the Fair good good for that day. Make plans to welcome back the Huskies.

VOTE IN OUR WEEKLY POLL
The weekly poll is back. Be sure to vote on this week's question.
