Here is the Huskies Update for Friday, Sept. 4.

The Huskies rolled past Seton Hill University 10-0 on Thursday. Erin Hench, Breanne Tobin and Amanda Riley each scored three times for the Huskies. Bloomsburg's defense was outstanding and did permit a shot on goal in the game. Bloomsburg is now 3-0 on the year and will play on Monday at 6 p.m. against Kutztown at Sports Stadium.

The soccer teams had a big evening against West Chester. The women won 1-0 and the men posted a 3-0 win. Katie Walczuk scored the women's only goal, while Marcus Valeriano scored once and added one assist in the men's victory. The women's team is now 1-1, while the men are 2-0. Both teams are in action tomorrow night at Millersville with the women starting at 5 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m.

Along with the soccer teams playing tomorrow night, the men's and women's cross country teams open the 2009 season hosting Susquehanna University. The men start at 10 a.m. and the women at 11 a.m.

The football team plays another big game. This time the Huskies, ranked sixth, face California, also ranked in the top 20, at 7 p.m. at Cal. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Pittsburgh.
